Passions

Outside my busy tennis training and school regime, I stepped our of my comfort zone and tried public speaking which I surprisingly enjoyed. During the pandemic, I also partnered with Inspiring Hong Kong (IHK), a charity organisation in Hong Kong to raise awareness on sports for underprivileged kids. Last year I also embarked on writing a review about the mental aspect of sports, specifically tennis. I personally struggled the most with the mental physiology of tennis, which I found out was super important and that every tennis player must master. Curiously, I did some research and found many interesting data and statistics that I felt were necessary for other young tennis players or sportsmen. So I wrote a review (Mental Practice for Adolescent Tennis Players) as a research project and will be published on the Research Archive of Rising Scholars
